Le Général Hôtel

Le general is a cleverly designed budget hotel that prides itself on offering a calming space to relax at an affordable price. The hotel has been carefully decorated. It is stylish and fun while still evoking an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. Rooms are reasonably sized with crisp linen and neutral earthy tones of browns and greys offset by pops of colour such as brightly coloured throws, and mustard yellow armchairs with raspberry cushions. Charming and unusual touches such as the apples on the pillows add to the quirky allure of this reasonably priced 4*hotel.
The hotel boasts a comprehensive fitness suite. After your work out, why not treat yourself to a massage or sauna or head down to the funky fuchsia bar for a relaxing glass of wine or a delicious cocktail? With its spotlights, dark wooden flooring and pink walls the bar is also a great place to have a pre-dinner drink or two before heading out.
A Business Centre is also located at the hotel for your convenience where a quiet space for work with high speed internet connection is available. If you want to stay inside, room service is available from Midday to 2.30pm – 7pm to 10pm.
If you prefer a quieter area but still want to be in a decent location Le General is a good choice. Situated in a peaceful part of the Marais district there is still plenty to see and do within walking distance of the hotel. Visitors can browse the open ait markets, check out the impressive flea market and visit the many great museums and galleries such as the Musée Picasso and the awe inspiring Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers, both of which are right on your doorstep .
